A family business for three generations
Popular Industries was founded in 1950 in Sialkot by Mirza Muhammad Baig, and was among the first companies in Pakistan to make aluminium household utensils. Today the group is run by his sons, Shaheen Mirza Baig and Saleem Mirza Baig, through Phoenix Metal Ware Industries and Popular International.
We roll our own aluminium sheet and use high nickel-chrome stainless steel (18/8 and 18/10). We make private-label products and packaging, and produce custom designs to a buyer’s specification, with dies made at our own expense.
